About Me
Lora Duguay, a polio survivor since the young age of 3, with a 26 year career as a medical language specialist, began oil painting as a hobby, emerging into a full time career when postpolio syndrome affected her life. Artistic creativity has been focused on the cultural beauty of native americans, gypsies and nature. Her paintings depict the beauty and romanticism of nomadic people living life from the earth, making her art unique, while her animals depict either the gentleness or ferocity associated with their nature. Lora is driven by the desire to create that which flows forth from a higher power.
